Five Series I’d Like to Finish

Hello everyone,

Since I finally started to read the Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas, I decided that I wanted to do a short post about five series that I want to finish one day.

1. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer

I have no idea why I haven’t finished reading this series yet. I read Cinder and Scarlett a few years ago, and I loved them, but for some reason, I didn’t pick up Cress right away. Last year I tried to restart the series, but I hit a reading slump and didn’t get very far. I’m hoping that after I finish Throne of Glass, I’ll be able to read this series and finish it.

2. The A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas

I read A Court of Thorns and Roses last year, and then I started a new job, and I didn’t get around to finishing A Court of Mist and Fury. I’m hoping that at some point I can finish this series because I would love to know what happens with Feyre and Rhysand.

3. The A Darker Shade of Magic Series by V.E. Schwab

I have to admit that I only got halfway through A Darker Shade of Magic because the cute summer contemporaries were calling my name. I’m hoping that at some point I can get through this series because I would love to know more about Kell and his very peculiar coat.

4. The Inkheart Trilogy by Cornelia Funke

Have you ever started a series and then found out that the release of the next book was delayed? This is what happened with me and the Inkheart series. I read the first two books when I was in elementary school, and the third book didn’t come out until I was in high school. By that point, I had travelled to so many new fictional worlds (like Hogwarts and Narnia) that the events of Inkheart and Inkspell were too foggy for me to dive into Inkdeath without a reread. Now here we are, over ten years later, and I still haven’t gotten around to that reread even though I would like to find out how it all ends.

5. The Red Rising Series by Pierce Brown

If you read my review of Red Rising, you’ll know that I was not a huge fan of it. However, I’ve heard that the second and third books are much better and curiosity makes me want to find out what happens next.

Are there any series that you hope to finish one day? Let me know in the comments!
