ABC Book Challenge – D

Happy Monday everyone!

I hope everyone’s week is off to a good start, and if it isn’t, I hope your week gets better soon!

I had a difficult time thinking of memorable titles for this week’s ABC book challenge. I don’t know if it’s because there aren’t a lot of books that start with the letter D or if I just forgot a handful of books that I’ll end up remembering later this week.

Memorable Reads that Start with “D”

img_4760Dead Cold by Louise Penny: This is the second Inspector Gamache book, and it’s my favourite one so far. It was full of twists and turns, and it kept me guessing to the very end. It was full of amazing characters, and it made me fall even more in love with Three Pines.

img_4759Dry by Augusten Burroughs: I’ve been a big fan of Augusten Burroughs since high school, and Dry is the second book in his trilogy of memoirs. I don’t remember much from this book, but I know it dealt with his alcoholism and other demons. I’m hoping to reread this trilogy of memoirs at some point because I feel like I would appreciate them a lot more now that I’m older.

TBR Titles that Start with “D”

Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich

Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller

The Defective by Ryan Jones

Do Not Say We Have Nothing by Madeleine Thien

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab

Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency by Douglas Adams

The Deal of a Lifetime by Fredrik Backman

Have you read any of the books on my TBR? Are there any that you recommend?
