I meant to post this yesterday, but I got caught up working on something else, and I didn’t get around to posting this until now.
Last month I had a terrible reading month (I only read one and a half books), so in December I’m focusing on finishing the four books that I’ve started and haven’t quite finished yet.
Frostblood by Elly Blake: I’m a little over halfway done this book, and I love it so far. The only reason why I haven’t finished it is because I’ve been too tired to read the last week or so, but I’m confident that I will finish it before the end of the week. The only problem that I might run into is wanting to dive into Fireblood right away instead of finishing the other books on this list.
What If It’s Us by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera: If I’m honest, I might decide to DNF this book. The reason why I stopped reading it was because I was getting incredibly annoyed with the characters and I found myself wanting to yell at the book. I’ll most likely end up finishing this book though because I was so excited for it to come out and a small part of me hopes that it gets better.
The Accidental Further Adventures of the Hundred-Year-Old Man by Jonas Jonasson: The reason why I haven’t finished this book yet is that I took a break from it to dive into What If It’s Us as soon as it arrived. Clearly, that didn’t go so well, and now it’s been sitting partly read on my shelf for a few months. I’m looking forward to finishing it because the part that I did read was laugh-out-loud funny and highly enjoyable.
The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli: I really hope that I find the time to finish this book this month because I enjoyed the part that I’ve read so far. The reason why I took a break from this book was that I wasn’t in the mood for fantasy and adventures, but the colder weather usually makes me want to dive into faraway worlds, so December should be the perfect month for finishing it.
Have you read any of these books? Which one should I finish first?
