January 6 – Weekly Wrap-Up

Hello everyone!

I’ve decided that I want to start writing brief weekly wrap-up posts in an attempt to keep better track of my reading life and to interact more with my followers. I don’t know if this is something I’m going to stick to, but I figure that it’s at least worth trying out for a few weeks.

Reading Updates

This week I managed to finish reading My True Love Gave to Me by Stephanie Perkins, which was a cute read that I enjoyed. If all goes well, I should have a review posted this week!

After I finished My True Love Gave to Me, I started reading Scythe by Neal Schusterman. I wasn’t planning on reading Scythe this month, but my friend recently finished it, and I picked it up on her recommendation. So far, I like the book, but I fear that I might change my mind since it has one of my least favourite tropes in it.

Overall, I read 372 pages this week, which feels pretty impressive since I’m just getting out of a reading slump.

On another bookish note, this week I was selected as an Influencer for Bibliophile Prints! I’ve been a fan of Erin’s bookmarks for a while now, and I’m super excited to be able to work with her over the next couple of months. If you’re interested in picking up any of her gorgeous bookmarks, you can use my code ASHLEE10 to save a little bit of money on your purchase.

Life Updates

Not much has happened this week that’s worth talking about. I did try the Cup O’Coffee face mask from Lush this week, and it was pretty spectacular. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth, and I’m looking forward to using it again sometime soon.

How about you? What have you been up to this week? Did you do anything exciting? Let me know!
