Top Five Wednesday was created by Lainey. Every Wednesday there’s a new topic, and you get to list your top 5 books that apply to that topic. For more information, or to join in on the fun, check out the Goodread’s Group.
Hello everyone,
After skipping last week’s prompt, I’m back this week with a Top Five Wednesday post! This week’s theme is top of your TBR, and there are so many amazing books that I wanted to include, but fortunately, I was able to narrow it down to five.
The Vanishing Stair by Maureen Johnson: I finished reading Truly Devious this week, and it was amazing! I need to know what happens next and I can’t wait for The Vanishing Stair to arrive in the mail. I’m hoping that it gets here by Friday, so I can spend my weekend reading it in my blanket cocoon.
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black: I have heard so many amazing things about this book, and I’m looking forward to reading it to see what all the hype is about. Fortunately, I’m buddy reading this book with two friends in February, so I’ll be able to dive in soon.
The Field Guide to the North American Teenager by Ben Phillipe: This book is a 2019 debut, and it looks like a really good book. I picked it up at Indigo a few weeks ago, and I’m looking forward to picking it up soon.
Thunderhead by Neal Shusterman: I recently finished reading Scythe, and I loved it. I can’t wait to dive into Thunderhead to find out what happens next.
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie: I included this book because I’m buddy reading it with a few of my fellow Bookstagrammers in February. I’m especially looking forward to it because I’ve been craving cozy mysteries and I’m hoping that this book will satisfy that craving.
Have you read any of these books? Which one should I read first?
