ABC Book Challenge – M

Hello everyone!

How has everyone been lately?

I disappeared for a few weeks because work has been super stressful lately, but I’ve carved out some time to draft a bunch of blog posts, so I’m hoping I’ll be posting regularly again soon.

This week’s letter for the ABC book challenge is M, and there are so many amazing books that start with this letter.

If you’ve missed any of my previous posts, you can check them out here: ABCDEFGHIJ, K & L.

Memorable Reads that Start with “M”

Me Before You by Jojo Moyes: I included this book on the list because Louisa Clark is such an amazing character. I loved how much she grew throughout the book, and I adored her bumblebee tights. I also included it because it’s a memorable read that deals with some important topics that should be discussed more often.

A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman: This book was my favourite read of 2017, and I cannot recommend it enough. I thought that this book was heartwarming, and I loved how stubborn and principled Ove was. This book also includes a very well-written cat, which makes me love it even more.

My Grandmother Sends Her Regards and Apologies by Fredrik Backman: This was the second Backman book that I read, and it did not disappoint. This book has a memorable cast of characters, and I loved the adventure that Elsa’s grandmother sends her on.

Me Talk Pretty One Day by David Sedaris: This is the first Sedaris book that I ever read, and it got me hooked on his writing and storytelling. I don’t remember any of the specific essays in this book, but I remember thoroughly enjoying them and laughing-out-loud throughout the book.

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie: Agatha Christie is the Queen of Mystery, and this is one of my favourite mysteries. I don’t want to say too much because I don’t want to spoil anything, but if you’re a fan of mysteries, I recommend checking this book out because the storytelling is amazing.
