How is everyone doing today? I haven’t been posting very much lately because I’ve been in a bit of a slump and I wasn’t able to find the motivation to create content that I was proud of. Fortunately, I think I’m out of the slump, so I should start posting regularly again soon.
This week’s letter for the ABC Book Challenge is N, and I had a surprisingly difficult time with this one. I thought that N would be an easy letter because it’s one of the default letters on Wheel of Fortune, but I could only think of a handful of books to talk about.

Memorable Reads that Start with “N”
Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman: Before reading Norse Mythology, my only knowledge on the subject was that Tom Hiddleston is basically a God and that Chris Hemsworth uses some amazing hair products. Between the rich source material and Gaiman’s magical storytelling, this book made me fall in love with Norse Mythology and it’s made me slightly better at Jeopardy, which is an excellent bonus.
No Relation by Terry Fallis: It’s no secret that Terry Fallis is one of my favourite authors and that I love every book he’s written. No Relation is about Earnest Hemmingway, an aspiring novelist who is ready to stop living in Ernest Hemingway’s shadow. It involves a support group for people with famous names, a community baseball league, and countless laugh-out-loud moments.
Night by Elie Wiesel: This is one of the most heartbreaking books I’ve ever read. The first time I read it was when I was in University for one of my many World War Two centred classes. I’ve read it a few times since then, and every time I read it, I am overwhelmed with emotions. If you haven’t read this book, I recommend that you pick it up at some point, because it’s a very important read.
The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney: This book was a total cover buy for me, and I ended up really enjoying it. I’m a fan of The Young and the Restless, and I loved how this book felt like I was reading a soap opera. The dysfunctional Plumb family is very memorable, and I couldn’t get enough of their drama.
TBR Titles that Start with “N”
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
Have you read any of the books on this list? Are there any books that start with the letter N that I should add to my TBR? Let me know!
Ahhh, I just did an alphabet challenge post – I was stuck on the letter V! It was so tough, so I feel your pain.
Neverwhere is also on my TBR, especially because my boyfriend has raved about it 😀
LOL at tom Hiddleston is a god and Chris hemsworth uses some amazing hair products ! Same, honestly Chris Hemsworth is the best Chris and I’ll die on that hill.
Oh, and I love that shade of green on the cover of the nest!
I agree completely! And it’s such a pretty colour!
