I was looking for a new book tag to do and I saw this tag on Blogger Books and it looked like it could be fun!
#1 What are your top three book pet peeves?
When books in the same series are different sizes; when the cover designs randomly change partway through a series; and dog-eared pages.
#2 Describe your perfect reading spot
On my bed, in my little nest of pillows and blankets.
#3 Tell us three bookish confessions
I’m terrible at finishing series; I haven’t read that many classics and I really don’t want to; and I read way more YA now than I did when I was in high school and University.
#4 When was the time you cried because of a book?
I cried at the end of A Question of Holmes by Brittany Cavallaro because I was emotional about the series being over.
#5 How many books are on your bedside table?
Right now, there are 19 and they’re all Agatha Christie because I can’t find space to fit them.
#6 What’s your favourite snack whilst your reading?
This is a tough one, but I think I’m going to say tea and dark chocolate; gummy bears are a close second though.
#7 Name three books you’d recommend to everyone
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, and The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
#8 Show us a picture of your favourite shelf on your bookcase
My shelves are a total mess right now, so here’s an old shelfie instead.
#9 Write how much books mean to you in three words
They are 42
#10 What’s your biggest reading secret?
My biggest reading secret is that I’m intimidated by most hyped YA fantasy series. My biggest bookish secret my blog and bookstagram, very few people that I know in real life know about this hobby.
I don’t know who to tag, so if you’re interested, feel free to join in on the fun!
Love your answers! I haven’t read A Question of Holmes yet, but I’m sure I’ll cry as well! I loved this series!! Ahhhh!
It’s so good!!
This makes me really happy now 😍
Hearing that you cried at the end of a question of Holmes makes me want to continue on with the series way more! So far, I’ve read and enjoyed a study in Charlotte, and I badly want to read the other three books
I highly recommend finishing the series! I really liked how it all ended.
