Am I the only one in shock that it’s already October? The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler, and this cozier weather is perfect for reading. This month I’m hoping to read four books, but we’ll see how it goes!
Still Life by Louise Penny: This is a reread for me, but when I saw the #readiscoverthreepines buddy read of the series, I knew that I had to join in. Inspector Gamache is one of my favourite detectives, and I’m looking forward to spending Thanksgiving in the cozy town of Three Pines.
The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren: I was supposed to read this book with my friend in September, but I didn’t get to it. Fortunately, my friend is also a procrastinator, so we’re going to try to read it in October.
Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia: This book popped up on my radar after I saw a bunch of people talking about it after the HCC Frenzy event. I haven’t read anything by this author yet, but when I saw it at Indigo this past weekend, I decided that it would be the perfect read for October.
Hello Girls by Brittany Cavallaro and Emily Henry: I’m not sure if I’ll actually get to this one in October, but I’m hoping I do because it looks like an interesting story. I loved the Charlotte Holmes books, and I’m excited to read something else by Cavallaro
