T5T Books on Current TBR

Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Bionic Bookworm! If you’re interested in participating, check out her wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday theme is books on my current TBR! Like most bookworms, my TBR is out of control, so it was difficult to narrow down which five books I want to read next.

Thunderhead by Neal Schusterman: This book has been on my TBR since I finished Scythe back in January. I promise that I’m going to read it next, though, because I preordered The Toll, and that was released today. I’ve heard a lot of great things about Thunderhead, and I enjoyed Scythe, so I’m looking forward to actually sitting down and committing to this series.

Now Entering Addamsville by Francesca Zappia: I was originally planning on reading this book in October because it seems like the perfect Halloween read, but I didn’t get around to it. I’m planning on reading it soon because it’s still close enough to Halloween, and I don’t want to put off reading it for an entire year.

Alex and Eliza by Melissa de la Cruz: I’m including this book on the list because my friend and I are planning on reading it for book club in November. I’m a little bit nervous about this one, because I’ve heard mixed reviews, but we’ll see how it goes. Either way, our book club meeting will be fun, because you can’t go wrong with wine, cheese, and good company.

Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinsella: This book is my most recent purchase, and I’m trying to get better at actually reading the books that I buy. My co-worker recently started reading this series, and she said that it’s a lot of fun, and often scarily relatable. If I enjoy this book, it’ll also give me an excuse to buy more books, because there’s an entire series to dive into.

Peril at End House by Agatha Christie: I’ve been slowly making my way through the entire Hercule Poirot series, and this book is up next on my list. I’ve been really enjoying all the Agatha Christie books I’ve read this year, and even though all of her books are kind of similar, they’re different enough to keep me interested and entertained.
