Hello everyone!
When I was looking for book tags to do in January, I stumbled upon The New Years Book Tag on Beverley’s blog, and it looked like the perfect tag to start the year off with!
How Many Books Are You Planning to Read In 2020?
Last year I set my goal intentionally low to 36 books to avoid the pressure and guilt that comes with Goodreads telling me how far behind I am. This year I’m going to do the same and aim to read 36 books.
Name 5 Books That You Didn’t Get to This Past Year but Want To Make A Priority In 2020.
Frankly in Love by David Yoon
One Day in December by Josie Silver
Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi
99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne
Hello Girls by Brittany Cavallaro and Emily Henry
What Genre Do You Want to Read More Of?
In 2020, I want to try to read more Historical Fiction. I don’t read Historical Fiction very often, but when I do, I end up loving it. I have a handful of unread Historical Fiction sitting on my shelf that people recommended to me, and I hope this is the year I get to them.
Name 3 Not-Related-To-Book Goals For 2020
In 2020, I want to bake more, spend more time outside, and take more time for self-care.
What’s A Book You Have Had Forever and Are Determined to Read?
This year I am determined to read Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. I purchased this book shortly after it was released because I loved Fangirl, and I am ashamed to say that I haven’t read it yet.
One Word That You’re Hoping 2020 Will Be
I hope that 2020 will be kinder. Lately, it seems like there’s been so much negativity in the world and people are forgetting that we’re all human. I hope that in 2020, people remember that words and actions have consequences and that they take the time to be kind to one another.

I’ve heard amazing things about Lawrence Hill! I’ll add that to my TBR, thanks for the recommendation!
I want to read 99% mine and carry on this year 😊
