The Two Lives of Lydia Bird by Josie Silver (March 3, 2020): After reading One Day in December earlier this year, I can’t wait to see what’s next for Josie Silver. The premise of this book makes me think that I’m going to need to keep a box of tissues nearby when I read it, but that’s something I can live with. It also looks like this book is getting excellent reviews so far, which makes me even more excited for this one.
The Honey-Don’t List by Christina Lauren (March 24, 2020):After reading The Unhoneymooners back in November, I want to read every new release from Christina Lauren. I love romantic comedies, and the premise of this book looks like it could be a lot of fun. I was also fortunate enough to get an eARC of this book from the publisher and Net Galley, which means that I’ll be able to read this one soon.
Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston (June 16, 2020):I absolutely loved Geekerella and The Princess and the Fangirl, and I can’t wait to see what comes next in the Once Upon a Con series. This book is a Beauty and the Beast retelling, which is one of my favourite fairy tales, and if it’s half as good as Geekerella (one of my favourite books of all time) or The Princess and the Fangirl (one of my favourites from 2019), it’ll be amazing.
Love & Olives by Jenna Evans Welch (July 7, 2020):I literally squealed with joy when this book was announced. I absolutely adored Love & Gelato and Love & Luck, I loved the characters, and both books gave me a feeling of wanderlust. Love & Olives takes place in Greece and I can’t wait to be transported to Santorini when I read this.
Vanessa Yu’s Magical Paris Teashop by Roselle Lim (August 4, 2020):Last year, I read Natalie Tan’s Book of Luck and Fortune, and I fell in love with it. I loved everything about the story, and I’ve been eagerly awaiting the next book from Roselle Lim. This book takes place in Paris, which is a setting that I will always love. I’m also in love with the cover of this book, which makes me even more excited to preorder it.
