A Book That A Certain Friend Is Always Telling You To Read

img_0932My one friend has been telling me to read (and to finish) Thunderhead by Neal Schusterman for over a year now. We read Scythe together in January 2019, and I keep on saying that I’ll read Thunderhead, but I’ve been failing at actually picking it up and finishing it.

A Book That’s Been On Your TBR Forever and Yet You Still Haven’t Picked It Up

img_0928I have so many books on my shelf that fall into this category. Some might say that I have a book buying problem because my physical TBR is out of control. When I looked at my shelf after reading this question, the first book that popped out to me was Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi. I picked up this book shortly after it was released, and I still haven’t read it, even though I’ve heard great things about it.

A Book In A Series You’ve Started But Haven’t Gotten Around To Finishing Yet

img_0930I’m terrible when it comes to reading series, and I can only think of a handful of series that I’ve finished reading from start to end. For this question, I’m going to pick Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas. I read Throne of Glass and The Assassin’s Blade, and I want to read the rest of the series, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.

A Classic You’ve Always Liked the Sound of, But Never Actually Read

img_0929For this question, I’m going to pick Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I know, I also can’t believe that I haven’t read this one yet. What’s even more surprising is that I haven’t watched the movie either. I would love to meet Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, but I haven’t gotten around to picking up this classic yet.

A Popular Book that it Seems Everyone But You Has Read

img_0931There are so many books that fall into this category, but the first one that came to mind was A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. So many people have read this series, and I’ve heard countless good things about it, but I haven’t picked it up yet. I’m not the biggest sci-fi and fantasy fan, so it usually takes me years to get around to reading series like this.

A Book that Inspired a Film/TV Adaption that You Really Love, But You Just Haven’t Read Yet

For this question, I’m going to go with Bones. I don’t watch tv very often, but this was one of my favourite shows when it was still on the air. This show was inspired by a series of books by Kathy Reichs, and if I’m honest, I have no intention of ever reading them. I love everything about the tv show, and I don’t want to ruin anything by diving into the source material.

A Book you See All Over Instagram but Haven’t Picked Up Yet

img_0927Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people posting about All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven because of the new movie. I haven’t read this book yet (or watched the movie), but it is something that I’m interested in reading (and watching).

  1. I also have not read or watched Pride & Prejudice, but I did watch all of the Lizzie Bennett Diaries on YouTube 😛 I have read all of the ADSOM books… this may be controversial but I don’t think you’re missing much 👀 (especially if you’re not too keen on fantasy).
