Hello everyone!
Today is Thursday, which means its book tag day! I saw this tag on Reading with Jessica, and it looked like a lot of fun, and I recommend checking out her blog for tons of great content!
A: Author You’ve Read the Most Books From
I think the author I’ve read the most books from is Agatha Christie, she’s definitely my most owned author, and I’ve read a ton of her novels and short stories.
B: Best Sequel Ever
I’m going to pick The High Road by Terry Fallis for this one because it’s one of the few sequels I can remember reading, and because I love Terry Fallis.
C: Currently Reading
Right now, I’m slowly making my way through Dear Evan Hansen by Val Emmich, and I’m hoping that I’ll be able to finish reading it tonight.
D: Drink of Choice While Reading
Tea, there’s nothing better than curling up with a cozy blanket, a book, and a warm cup of tea.
E: E-Reader or Physical Book
Physical book, I like being able to turn pages and easily see how many pages I have left in a chapter or the book.
F: Fictional Character You Would’ve Dated in High School
After way too much thought and reflection, I’ve decided that I would have dated David from the Truly Devious books in high school.
G: Glad You Gave This Book A Chance
Still Life by Louise Penny, this book started slow, and I was tempted not to finish it, but then it got better, and now Inspector Gamache is one of my favourite fictional detectives.
H: Hidden Gem Book
I don’t know if this is a hidden gem, but I love Chaotic Good by Whitney Gardner, and I don’t see a lot of people posting about it on bookstagram.
I: Important Moment in Your Reading Life
The most important moment in my reading life is probably joining bookstagram because it’s introduced me to so many books and genres that I love.
J: Just Finished
My most recently finished book is The Wedding War by Liz Talley, if you’re interested, you can read my review here!
K: Kind of Books You Won’t Read
Horror, I don’t do scary stuff.
L: Longest Book You’ve Read
Probably Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
M: Major Book Hangover Because Of…
The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson gave me a massive book hangover; the trilogy was just so good.
N: Number of Bookcases You Own
I don’t own any bookcases; all my shelves are hanging on my wall. I have three sections of hanging shelves and six shelves in total.
O: One Book You’ve Read Multiple Times
A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L’Engle
P: Preferred Place to Read
I love reading in my bed.
Q: Quote That Inspires You/Gave You All the Feels
“I, myself, am made entirely of flaws, stitched together with good intentions” (Augusten Burroughs)
R: Reading Regret
Waiting such a long time to give romance a chance, because it’s now one of my favourite genres.
S: Series You’ve Started and Need to Finish (all books are out)
Caraval by Stephanie Garber
T: Three of Your All-Time Favorite Books
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, and Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson
U: Unapologetic Fangirl for…
Red, White and Royal Blue and Casey McQuiston
V: Very Excited for This Release
I am so excited for Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston
W: Worst Bookish Habits
Waiting too long to read a sequel and then having to reread the first book to remember what happened.
X: X Marks the Spot! Start at the Top Left of your Bookshelf and Pick Your 27th Book
Turtles All The Way Down by John Green
Y: Your Latest Book Purchase
I think the last book I bought was You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle, which should be delivered to me today!
Z: ZZZ-Snatcher Book – Last Book That Kept You Up Way Too Late
I stayed up way too late trying to finish The Cruel Prince by Holly Black; I just had to know what happened.
