Hello Everyone!
#SixforSunday is hosted by A Little But A Lot, and each week, there’s a different prompt, and you list six books that fit the prompt. The theme for May is Showing Some Series Love.
This week’s #SixforSunday prompt is Series I Can’t Wait to Get Into, which is similar to a list I posted a few weeks ago. Fortunately, there are so many series that I want to read that I was able to make another list for this post.
Well Met by Jen DeLuca: This is one of those series where each book follows a different character. I like that the first book, Well Met, takes place at a Renaissance Fair, and I think it sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve also seen tons of great reviews for the first book, and I am in love with the cover. The second book, Well Played, is scheduled to be released in September, so I’m hoping I can find time to start this series soon.
The Kiss Quotient by Helen Hoang: This is another series where each book follows a different character. I’ve had the first book, The Kiss Quotient, on my shelf for a year now, and I don’t know why I haven’t picked it up yet. I’ve heard great things about this series, including that it has great Autism rep in it. I think that this is the kind of series that is best read on a sunny day, in the backyard, with a glass of wine, so maybe I’ll get to it in July or August.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan: I late to the party, but I’m so excited to read this series. I’ve heard so many great things about these books, and with the Disney announcement the other day, I just want to dive in right away. I want to discover Camp Half-Blood and finally meet Percy Jackson. It also seems like Rick Riordan is an awesome person, which makes me even more excited to start this series.
Frostblood Saga by Elly Blake: I picked up this trilogy a few years ago when Elly Blake came to my local Indigo for a book signing. I’m intrigued by the premise of this series, and I’ve seen a lot of people rave about how much they loved it. I don’t know when I’ll actually pick up this series because I’m not the biggest fantasy reader, and I have a few series that I want to finish/start first, but it’s on my list of series I want to read.
Iskari Series by Kristen Ciccarelli: About two years ago, I started The Last Namsara, but I put it down because I was dealing with a reading slump. I’m excited to read this series because it contains dragons, and who doesn’t like dragons? I’m also interested in this series because each book follows a different main character, and that’s not something I’ve seen very often with fantasy books.
Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams: This is another romance series that I want to dive into. The idea of a bunch of alpha men getting together for a secret romance book club sounds like a lot of fun. I’ve recently read some reviews for the first two books in this series, and it seems like people are enjoying it, which makes me even more excited to read this series. I’m also in love with the cover and premise of the third book because it involves a cat café.
How about you? What series are you looking forward to starting?
I’m looking forward to Well Played later this year 😀
And you picked some great romance series to read, the Bromance series by Lyssa Kay Adams, and the books by Helen Hoang are some that have been on everyone’s tbr.
There are so many romance series on my radar right now, they all sound so good
Bromance Bookclub is brilliant. I just finished the second book yesterday. I can’t wait for third one to come out in October!

Thanks! I’ve had my eye on Percy Jackson for a while, but the announcement makes me want to dive right in!
Percy Jackson is totally on my list after the major hype this weekend for the Disney + series! I haven’t seen the films yet either so am completely unspoiled! 🙂
