Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by Bionic Bookworm! If you’re interested in participating, check out her wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

This month, Shanah at Top 5 Tuesday is taking a much-deserved break! That means that there aren’t any prompts this month, which is okay because I’ve missed a few weeks. I decided to go through the Top 5 Tuesday archives and pick out some topics that I wish I would have done, to share with you during June. This week, I’m talking about my Top 5 Main Males.

Joshua Templeman from The Hating Game by Sally Thorne: This pick shouldn’t surprise anyone, especially if you read last week’s leading ladies post. Joshua Templeman is my favourite character that I’ve met in a romance novel (so far), and I adore him. I love his habits, especially his two-week shirt rotation, and I also love that mind games that he and Lucy play with each other at work.

Levi Stewart from Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell: This pick also shouldn’t surprise anyone because it’s well known that I adore this barista from Fangirl. I like how enthusiastic and caring Levi is, and I like that he put in the effort to learn about Cath’s favourite things. I also really like that he’s a barista and that he created a delicious-sounding pumpkin beverage.

Jamie Watson from A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro: The main reason why I love the Charlotte Holmes books is that I love Jamie Watson. I like his attachment to stories about his great-great-grandfather and Sherlock Holmes. I also liked how he looked out for Charlotte, even when she was actively trying to push him away. Finally, I like how willing he is to go on crime-solving adventures, even though it’s clear that he’s in way over his head.

Inspector Gamache from Still Life by Louise Penny: There are a lot of great fictional detectives, but I think Inspector Gamache might be my favourite. I like that he’s mild-mannered and that he adds a layer of charm to the series. I like that he gets to know the people in the village of Three Pines and tries to become part of the community to help his solve crimes. I also like that he’s willing to give people chances, even if they don’t necessarily deserve it.

Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams: There are so many reasons why I love Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. I love that he spends most of the series, being thrown into intergalactic crises while wearing his housecoat. I also love that he just really wants a decent cup of tea and that he gets very frustrated that he can’t find one.
