I read this book earlier this month and I loved it! I should have my review posted tomorrow, but for now I’ll say that I’m strongly considering giving up my current life and becoming a tavern wench and falling in love with a pirate.

Yet on the faire grounds he becomes a different person, flirting freely with Emily when she’s in her revealing wench’s costume. But is this attraction real, or just part of the characters they’re portraying?
This summer was only ever supposed to be a pit stop on the way to somewhere else for Emily, but soon she can’t seem to shake the fantasy of establishing something more with Simon, or a permanent home of her own in Willow Creek.
The wench life haha! I’ve never heard of this book but it sounds like it’s made an impression on you. I’ll have to take a look!
