The Reread Tag

The Reread Tag Banner

Hello Everyone!

Today is Thursday, which is tag day! This week I’m doing The Reread Tag! I saw this tag yesterday on Ze Zee with Books, which is perfect because earlier this week, I was thinking about what books I want to reread this year!

This tag was created by Brianna’s Books and Randomness.

A Childhood Favourite That You Could Read 100 Times and Still Love

I could read the Winnie-the-Pooh books by A.A. Milne over and over again. There’s something so wholesome and comforting about these books, and the Hundred Acre Wood is a place that I love revisiting.

A Book You DNF’d But Would Be Willing to Give A Second Chance To

Technically, I didn’t DNF A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab; I just took a break and forgot to pick it up again. That being said, I’m still interested in A Darker Shade of Magic, and I do want to give it another try when I’m in the mood for fantasy.

A Newer Favorite You Would Reread

I would gladly reread The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. The Hating Game is the book that got me hooked on reading romance books, and I would love to revisit Lucy and Joshua.

A Book You Hated and Never Want to Read Again

There are a lot of books that I could pick for this question, but the first one that came to mind was Frankly in Love by David Yoon. In my opinion, this book is very overrated, and I don’t understand all of the hype. I thought the marketing for this book was misleading and that the main character was incredibly unlikeable.

A Classic You Read in School but Want to Try Again

I don’t know if this counts as a classic, but I’d like to reread The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. I read this book in grade seven or grade eight, and it’s one of the few books that I read in elementary or secondary school that I actually enjoyed.

An Author You Would Reread Anything From

I think I would reread anything from Terry Fallis. Terry Fallis is my favourite Canadian author, I love his sense of humour, and his books are a lot of fun.

A Series You Want to Reread for The Fun of It

As you know, I’m terrible at reading series, and there’s only a handful of series that I’ve finished. If I have to pick one, I’d go with Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson because I love Stevie and the gang at Ellingham Academy.

A Book You’ve Read but Want to Listen to The Audiobook

I would like to listen to the audiobook for Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I loved this book, and I’ve heard a lot of great things about the audiobook.
