2. Count Your Age Along Your Bookshelf – What Book Is It?

My bookshelves are a bit of a mess, but going from left to right on the one section of shelf that is somewhat organized, I land on Love and Other Words by Christina Lauren.

3. Name A Book Set in Your City/Country

I can’t think of any books that take place in my city, but one of my favourite books that takes place in Canada is The Best Laid Plans by Terry Fallis.

4. Name A Book That Represents a Destination You’d Love to Travel To

For this question, I’m going to go with Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch. I’ve always wanted to travel to Italy, and this book made me want to drop everything to go eat gelato in Tuscany.

5. Name Your Favorite Childhood Book

When I was really little, I was obsessed with a picture book called Pickle Things by Marc Brown. I’m pretty sure that I had the book memorized and everyone in my household was sick of hearing the story over and over again.

6. Name A Book That’s Your Favorite Color

My favourite colour is purple, and the first purple book that is jumping out at me is The Dating Plan by Sara Desai.

7. Which Book Do You Have the Fondest Memories Of?

I have a lot of fond memories of A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. It was the series that got me into reading, and I remember going to the bookstore trying to track down all of the books in the series. I also remember writing a letter to the author in grade 6 for a school project and getting a postcard back from the, which was very cool.

8. Which Book Did You Have the Most Difficulty Reading?

I don’t know if this counts, but I struggled with 1984 by George Orwell when I had to read it for a class in university. The book itself isn’t necessarily difficult to read, but I really didn’t like it, and I was swamped with work for my other classes, which made it hard to find time to read.

9. Which Book in Your TBR Pile Will Give You the Biggest Accomplishment When You Finish It?

Finishing War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy will likely be my biggest reading accomplishment this year. The book is a struggle because of it’s size, but I actually am enjoying it so far.
