Hello Everyone!
I can’t believe that it’s almost August, and it’s time to announce the prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge!
If you aren’t familiar with the TBR Tackle Challenge, it’s a reading challenge that I co-host with mystorynook and theartsy_bookworm88. The goal of the challenge is to read the books that you already own and to “tackle your TBR.” Every month we post five prompts to help you decide what books to read from your TBR. You can find out more information on Instagram, and if you have any questions, please let me know!
Here are the August prompts:
Sunset Colours on the Cover
Read a book with sunset colours on the cover. This can be a book with a sunset on the cover or a book with colours on the cover that remind you of a sunset.
Beach Read
I’m not sure what a beach read actually is, so pick a book that you would bring with you to the beach! It can be a book that’s appeared on one of the countless lists of beach reads, a book by your favourite author, a book that falls into your favourite genre; really, it can be whatever you would want to bring with you to the beach.
Mode of Transportation on the Cover
Read a book with a mode of transportation on the cover. This can be something relatively standard, like a plane, train, or automobile. It could also be something like a boat, a horse, a dragon, a hot air balloon, or a bicycle. If it can get you from point A to point B, you can use it for this prompt!
Multiple Authors
Read a book written by multiple authors. This can be a novel written by more than one author, or it could be a collection of short stories or essays.
Book Released Before 2020
Read a book released before 2020! Look at your shelves and pick out a backlist book that’s been begging to be read. If it was published before 2020, you could use it for this prompt!
If you have any questions about any of the prompts, let me know! Happy TBR Tackling!
I may need to “tackle” this challenge soon. My TBR is out of control!!
[…] All of the prompts this month are based off of the TBR Tackle Challenge reading prompts. If you want to read more about the August reading prompts, you can check out that post here! […]
