Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
I haven’t read very much this week. I read a bit more of False Value by Ben Aaronovitch and started reading Revenge of the Beast by Jack Meggitt-Phillips. Hopefully next week will be a better reading week.
This week was a chaotic week at work. I can’t go into any details because I work at a law office, but oh my god, so much chaos.
Last night, my best friend came over for beer and board games. We had some sour beers from Collective Arts Brewing, which were very tasty. We also played some new board games that I got recently from Kickstarter, including CULTivate (so much fun), Nutty Squirrels of the Oakwood Forest (need to watch a tutorial because I’m pretty sure we played it wrong), and Floriferous (the artwork in this game is beautiful).
Today, I woke up to snow, which means there is some shovelling in my future. I also have plans to see a friend today and I’m very excited to get out of the house for a bit.
What I’ve Been Listening To
This week, I’ve been on a Scotty McCreery kick.
