Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
On Monday, I finished reading Tinker Tailor Soldier Chef by Phillip Brady. Since then, I’ve started and read a little over half of Bringing Down the Duke by Evie Dunmore and about half of Winterhouse by Ben Guterson.
This week was a whirlwind and I barely remember what happened at work, I’m hoping that this upcoming week is less chaotic.
In other news, this week has been chaotic because of all of the protests happening in Canada right now. I live in Windsor, which is where the Ambassador Bridge is, which has been shutdown by protestors. Fortunately, I live far enough away from the Bridge that I haven’t been directly impacted by any of the protests, but it’s still frightening knowing that something like that is happening so close by.
In more personal news, on Friday night, my best friend from University and I had a Galentine’s video call. We ended up chatting for over four hours, which was a lot of fun and it reminded me of all the nights we used to stay up talking around the kitchen table until 2 am.
Once again, I haven’t been listening to very much this week. It’s been just a bit too chaotic of a week.
