Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
This has not been a good reading week. I haven’t found the motivation to finish The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary yet, even though I’m so close to the end of it and I’m enjoying it. I tried picking up Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston, but I put it down after a few chapters. I started The Wishing Spell by Chris Colfer, which I am enjoying quite a bit, but I’m still not very far into. Finally, I started reading Murder in Mesopotamia by Agatha Christie, which is also very enjoyable so far.
In other exciting bookish news, the blogger sign-ups for BBNYA are officially open! BBNYA is the Book Bloggers’ Novel of the Year Award, which is an annual competition for indie authors (self-published and small indie press). It’s judged by a large and diverse panel of book bloggers from all around the world. I had such a great experience as a panellist last year and it introduced me to so many amazing books and authors. I definitely recommend checking it out!
This was a very uneventful week, which was nice. Work was calm, which was a nice change of pace.
Other than that, not much has happened this week. Hopefully, next week is more exciting.
