Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, and it’s now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

March is a scavenger hunt month for Top Five Tuesday, and I’m sad that this is the last week of it. This week’s prompt is books with books, which was by far the easiest prompt this month. I love bookish books and I had a lot of fun making this list of five books with books on the cover.

By The Book by Amanda Sellet – I haven’t read this book yet, but the cover is super cute and very bookish. The main character in this book is very bookish and she is a devotee of classic novels. It looks like this book has some cute romance in it, lots of references to classic novels, and I’m hoping that it’s a fun read when I get to it.

The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams – This is another book that’s on my TBR that I’m excited to read. The premise of this book sounds like so much fun and I love the idea of a secret book club full of alpha males that read romance books. I’ve heard so many good things about this series and I’m hoping to dive into it sometime this year.

Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston – This is the final book in the Once Upon a Con series and it also happens to be one of my current reads. I’m not very far into it right now, but it is very bookish, and I appreciate how much the main character loves books. I’m a bit nervous about this book since I love Geekerella and Once Upon a Con so much, but I’m hopeful that it’ll be just as amazing.

What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter – I read this book two years ago and I loved that the main character was a Book Blogger. It was nice to see my main hobby in a book, even if this book was cringy at times. While I enjoyed this book, I didn’t like that the whole premise was built upon the main character not being honest right away. Despite this, I still recommend this book because it was a cute and fun read.

The Upside of Falling by Alex Light – This bookish book features fake dating, which is always a lot of fun when it’s done right. I remember really enjoying this book, but I don’t remember much about it. I do remember that the main male character was a complete cinnamon roll though and that he was one of my favourite characters in 2020.

  1. Ashlee, I think you might be the only person who is sad to see this month’s (more difficult than I was anticipating) scavenger hunt end. I do have another pencilled in for August, but we’ll see how mean I’m feeling that late in the year. Hahaha!
Am also adding By the Book onto my TBR — it’s the only one that isn’t on my TBR or read list!!
Hope you had fun with this week’s prompt 📚💕

  2. What a fab post, I love the look of these books, will have to read them sometime!
