Hello Everyone!
Instead of making my usual hopefuls list this month, I’m doing something slightly different.
As you may know, one of my goals this year is to improve my Net Galley ratio, and I was making some progress with that goal. Unfortunately, all of my progress flew out the window when I somehow added 11 new books to my Net Galley shelf in March. I am both thrilled and ashamed by this number. I am thrilled that publishers offer me access to advanced copies of books, and I am thrilled that I am fortunate enough to work with the best blog tour group in the world, which also gives me ARCs. However, 11 books is a lot, so I am doing ARC April!
The goal of ARC April is to read as many ARCs as possible. I am doing ARC April with Hannah, one of my best bookish friends, and we’re hoping to slay our ARC piles. So I’ve decided that for every ARC I read in April, I’m going to put $2 in a jar, and at the end of the month, we’ll see what happens. Maybe I’ll buy a new book, maybe I’ll buy wine, or maybe I’ll buy chocolate!
I’m not setting a specific TBR or hopeful list for this project; I’m letting my mood decide what I read. The goal is to read as much as possible, so if my heart wants to read all the middle-grade books, I’m going to listen to my heart.
Since I’m bound and determined to make this work, keep an eye out for updates during my weekly wrap-up posts and at the end of the month when I do a proper wrap-up post.
Wish me luck and happy reading this month!

Good luck with slaying your ARC pile. I’ve been on this mission all year and I’m gradually getting there. I’m down to 16 now which feels a lot more manageable than it did before. I’m looking forward to the updates.
That’s amazing, only having 16 ARCs! And thank you!
Good luck! I’m trying to read more ARCs this month too!

Good luck, hopefully it’s going well!
