Weekly Wrap-Up – 3 April 2022

Weekly Wrap Up Banner

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.

I am happy to report that the reading slump I was dealing with in March is officially over! Since my last weekly wrap-up, I’ve managed to read 3 books. I read Dread Wood by Jennifer Killick, Lulu and Milagro’s Search for Clarity by Angela Velez, and Happy-Go-Lucky by David Sedaris. My review for Dread Wood is coming tomorrow, and I should have reviews of the other two books coming out soon. Keep an eye out if you’re curious about my thoughts on these books.

Yesterday, I posted that I was doing ARC April to try to get my Net Galley situation under control. Both Lulu and Milagro’s Search for Clarity and Happy-Go-Lucky are books that I had on my Net Galley shelf, so I added $4 to my jar this week.

As far as new additions to my shelves go, my copy of Four Aunties and a Wedding by Jesse Q. Sutanto arrived this week, which I’m excited to dive into after ARC April.

This was another fairly uneventful week. Temperature-wise, the weather has been a bit of a roller coaster, and I’m really hoping that consistently warm weather will be here soon.

The most exciting thing to happen to me this week was getting out of my reading slump. It feels really nice to have the energy to read again and to be tackling my TBR.

Yesterday, I went out and I bought myself some flowers, a baguette, and some nice cheese, which I’ve been enjoying this weekend.

The tea I ordered from Tealish arrived this week, and I’ve been enjoying trying all of the new flavours I ordered.
