Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
Since my last weekly wrap-up, I finished reading Judgement Day by Josie Jaffrey. Judgement Day is the sequel to May Day, which was the winner of the 2021 BBNYA competition.
As far as my ARC April challenge went, I ended up reading 5 NetGalley books in April and I am very proud of myself. In total, this brings the total in my jar to a total of $10. I’m planning on keeping my NetGalley money jar going, so we’ll see how much I have in it at the end of May.
The weather last Sunday was gorgeous, and I spent a good part of the day outside. I met up with a friend, we went for a walk, and then spent some time sitting outside, enjoying the sunshine.
As far as work goes this week, it was a bit slow which was nice. I’m glad that nothing too crazy is going on right now, but I think it might be the calm before the storm.
On Thursday, I went over to my friend’s house after work. We ordered Thai food, which was delicious. It was nice to get out of the house for a few hours and I’m looking forward to getting out of the house more now that the warmer weather is coming.
Last night, I had virtual book club with my two former university roommates. We talked about The Charm Offensive and it was nice catching up with them for a few hours.
