Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
This was another bad reading week for me, and I haven’t finished any books since my last post. I did start reading With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo the other day though and I am enjoying it so far. I’m only a few chapters in, but I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes and all of the food in the story.
I did add two books to my collection this week. I ordered a copy of Aru Shah and the End of Time by Roshani Chokshi and The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. Aru Shah and the End of Time is one of the two books the Middle Grade Marvels book club is reading this month and The Great Alone is the June book of the month for another book club that I’m in.
This week wasn’t that exciting.
On Monday and Tuesday, it was ridiculously hot out. The weather the rest of the week was far more bearable.
On Thursday, it was election day here in Ontario. I don’t want to get into politics on here, but I will say that I am very disappointed with the results.
On Saturday, I got some chores done and I went to the craft store to buy a new notebook and stickers.
