Hello Everyone!

Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.

Weekly Wrap 1

I have bookish updates this week!

I decided to take a break from reading The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah. I was enjoying it, but the subject matter was too much to handle right now. I am planning on coming back to it though because the writing is beautiful, and I am interested in finding out what happens next.

Since I decided to take a break from The Great Alone, I’ve managed to finish reading two books. I finished reading The Librarian Spy by Madeline Martin and The Perfect Date by Evelyn Lozada.

I also started a reading journal this week, which I’m looking forward to getting in the habit of using.

Weekly Wrap 2

On Monday night, I was standing on my front porch and a trio of baby skunks walked by. This was unexpected, slightly scary, but also slightly cute.

Friday was Canada Day, so on Thursday night, I stayed at my friend’s house. It was nice staying up late and discussing life, the universe, and everything. On Friday morning, we went for a walk, and I spent the rest of the day reading.

Yesterday, I spent most of the day reading, which was lovely.

  1. Hi – I really liked The Great Alone and agree the writing is beautiful. Hope you’re able to get back to it! I can only read one book at a time – that’s impressive that you can manage several!
