Hello everyone!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is Top 5 Anticipated Reads for July to September! This was a fun post to write because there are so many books coming out this quarter that I cannot wait to get my hands on. Spoiler alert, 4 out of 5 books come out on August 30th, so that will be a very good week for bookmail.
Amari and the Great Game by B.B. Alston (August 30, 2022) – This is my most anticipated release for the entire year. Amari and the Night Brothers was one of my favourite books that I read in 2020 and I’ve been impatiently waiting for the follow-up ever since. Amari is such a great character and I love the world of Supernatural Investigations, so I know that I’m going to fly through this book once I get my hands on it.
The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (August 30, 2022) – I fell in love with the characters in the Inheritance Games when I read the book back in 2020 and I’m looking forward to seeing how this trilogy wraps up. If I remember correctly, there are still a lot of questions that need to be answered and I can’t wait to see how everything plays out in this final book. The only downside to this book is having to say goodbye to the Hawthorne brothers, which will be difficult since they’re such great characters.
Carrie Soto Is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid (August 30, 2022) – Taylor Jenkins Reid is an auto buy author for me. I fell in love with her writing and storytelling when I read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I’ve enjoyed all of her recent releases since then. This book follows a minor character from Malibu Rising and I’m looking forward to falling in love with Taylor Jenkins Reid’s worldbuilding and seeing how this book fits in with her other books.
Nothing More to Tell by Karen M. McManus (August 30, 2022) – I’ve only read The Cousins and You’ll Be the Death of Me by Karen M. McManus, but I enjoyed them so much that I’ll gladly read any new books she releases. This book looks like it’s full of twists and turns and I’m sure it’ll keep me on the edge of my seat.
The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling (September 20, 2022) – The Ex Hex was such a fun book and I’m looking forward to reading The Kiss Curse and revisiting Graves Glen. I know that this book is going to have some spooky fun and lots of romance, and it sounds great. I probably won’t read this book until closer to Halloween, but it is exciting having part of my October hopefuls list already planned out.

It didn’t make my list, but I’m excited for The Kiss Curse, too!
Completely forgot about The Kiss Curse, which I am excited for. Great list of releases to look forward to!
Ohhhh! Why am I just now hearing about Nothing More to Tell and The Final Gambit! I’m really excited for those two.
