August Anticipated Banner

Hello Everyone!

How is everyone doing today? Today I’m bringing you a list of some of my most anticipated August releases. August is a really good month for book releases, and I know that I’m going to end up slightly overwhelmed because it seems like most of the books I’m most excited about come out on the same day.

The Final Gambit by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (August 30, 2022) – I absolutely adored The Inheritance Games and The Hawthorne Legacy and I cannot wait to see how this trilogy wraps up. I love the characters in this series, and I also love all of the puzzles. I’m sure this last book will be full of twists and turns and I am ready for it.

Amari and the Great Game by B.B. Alston (August 30, 2022) – I have been impatiently waiting for this book since I read Amari and the Night Brothers in December 2020. Amari is such an amazing character, and the Bureau of Supernatural Investigations is such an excellent setting for a book. I know that this book is going to be full of dangerous twists and turns and I’m looking forward to getting lost in it.

Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid (August 30, 2022) – So far, I have loved everything that I’ve read by Taylor Jenkins Reid. I love that she has the ability to make fictional famous people seem real, to the point where you start to question if the person, you’re reading about was real. I don’t remember much about Carrie Soto’s character in Malibu Rising but I know that I’m going to love this book.

Nothing More to Tell by Karen M. McManus (August 30, 2022) – I’ve only read two Karen M. McManus books so far (The Cousins and You’ll Be The Death of Me) and I enjoyed both of them very much. I love how twisty all of her mysteries are and how they keep me on the edge of my seat, trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. I don’t know much about this book, but I know that I want to read it because I enjoy the author so much.
