Trope-ical Readathon TBR

Hello Everyone!

How is everyone doing today? It’s August, which means there is a round of the Trope-ical Readathon going on! If you aren’t familiar with the Trope-ical Readathon, it’s a team based readathon hosted by the very wonderful Jenjenreviews and bookrob13. All of the prompts are based on different tropes, and it is a lot of fun.

In the past, I’ve tried picking a book for every prompt, but since I’ve been a bit slumpy lately, I only picked a few books for my TBR this month. Here’s what I’m hoping to read this month.

The Unlikely Adventures of the Shergill Sisters by Balli Kaur Jaswal – This is my pick for the Absent/Dead Parent(s) Trope. This book is about three sisters who travel to India after their mother passes away.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid – This is my pick for the Celebrity Trope. This is a reread for me and I’m very excited for it.

Appointment with Death by Agatha Christie – This is my pick for A Book Published Before 2000. It is the next Poirot book on my list to read.

Spoiler Alert by Oliva Dade – This is one of the team books for Team Romance. It’s been on my shelf for a while and I’m looking forward to reading it.
