Hello Everyone!
I’ve seen a lot of people doing Book Blogger Hop and I decided that I’m going to try to join in on the fun.
The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Crazy-For-Books and is now being hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. Every Friday, a new question is posted for bloggers to answer during the week. The purpose of the Book Blogger Hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and maybe even receive some new blog followers.
This week’s question is:
Have you ever switched reading genres? If so, why?
(submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
The short answer to this question is all the time! I tend to switch between romance, mystery, and middle grade fantasy, though there are some other genres that I enjoy reading. I’m also a big mood reader, so if I’m not feeling the current book that I’m reading, I usually switch genres to try to avoid getting into a reading slump.
I also don’t like reading too much of the same genre back-to-back, because the stories start to feel similar and they blend together. The great thing about switching genres is that when the stories start to feel similar, I can dive into something completely different.

Exactly. I can’t imagine only reading one genre of book although I know there are people who do
I’m constantly switching genres. I adore fantasy, but many fantasy books are HUGE CHONKS, so I’ll switch to something else that’s a little shorter, and maybe a little easier read, in between fantasy books.
