September Anticipated Releases

September Anticipated Icon

Hello Everyone!

How is everyone doing today? Today I’m bringing you a list of some of my most anticipated September releases. Initially, I thought that September was a meh month for new releases, but after doing some looking online, it turns out that there are quite a few books I’m excited for coming out next month.

Marple: Twelve New Mysteries by Various Authors (September 13, 2022) – Agatha Christie is one of my favourite authors and I love the idea behind this book. Marple features twelve new stories, starring Miss Marple, all written by various authors. I love the idea of a bunch of authors coming together and writing about such an iconic character.

Marple

The Enigma of Room 622 by Jöel Dicker (September 13, 2022) – This is one of the many fantastic books that was advertised at the most recent Harper Collins Canada preview event and it sounds very intriguing. I don’t really know how to explain this book, other than it’s a mystery thriller and it takes place in Switzerland. I do know that I have an ARC of this book on NetGalley that I’m hoping to dive into soon.

The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling (September 20, 2022) – I am so excited to revisit Graves Glen when I read this book! The Kiss Curse is the follow-up novel to The Ex Hex, which was witchy and cute and so much fun to read. I liked the characters in The Ex Hex and I’m looking forward to reading about Gwyn and Wells and seeing their HEA.

The Kiss Curse

The Winners by Fredrik Backman (September 27, 2022) – I absolutely loved Beartown and even though I still haven’t read Us Against You, I’m looking forward to The Winners. I’ve been wanting to reread Beartown for a while now and I think this third book being released will finally nudge me into my reread and reading the entire trilogy.

The Winners

Well, That Was Unexpected by Jesse Q. Sutanto (September 27, 2022) – I don’t know much about this book, but I’m excited to read it because I love Jesse Q. Sutanto. The Dial A For Aunties books are so much fun and I’m looking forward to reading this YA rom-com set in Indonesia.

  1. Great list! I’m torn because I didn’t really love The Ex Hex but the covers are so cute, I’m feeling temped to try The Kiss Curse anyway. Hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
