This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is Things a Bookworm Would Never Do! This was a fun, but difficult, topic to write about. Overall, September has been a great months for Top 5 Tuesday topics and I’m looking forward to October’s topics!
Ban Books – A bookworm would never ban books. Bookworms love books and reading and banning books goes against loving books and reading. Bookworms want to be able to read whatever they want, and they want other people to have that same freedom.
Say the Screen Adaption Was Better – Generally, bookworms will always say that the book was better. There are some exceptions where the adaption is spectacular, but this doesn’t happen very often. When the adaption happens to be better than the book, the bookworm will definitely be able to tell you all of the reasons why.
Say they Like Printed Stickers on Covers – In my experience, bookworms don’t like those stickers that come printed on book covers and they especially dislike the “TikTok” and “Netflix” stickers. These stickers take away from the cover art and they’re annoying to look at.
Pass Up an Opportunity to Talk About Books – Bookworms love talking about books, and they seldom pass up the opportunity to talk about books. They love recommending books, hearing about what others are reading, and talking about all things bookish in general.
Pass Up an Opportunity to Look at Books – Bookworms love looking at books. If they see books, they will take a look at them. Whether it’s shelves at someone’s house, a free little library, or a bookstore, they’re always wanting to take a look.
