T5T Anticipated Oct Dec Banner

Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, and it’s now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is Anticipated Reads for October to December 2022. This was a dangerous topic because theoretically I’m on a book buying ban right now and looking up books is not good for book buying bans.

Just Like Magic by Sarah Hogle (October 4, 2022)You Deserve Each Other is one of my favourite romance novels and I cannot wait to get my hands on this Christmas rom com. I love trying to squeeze in a few festive books in December and this book will be on the top of my festive TBR.

Just Like Magic

Built to Last by Erin Hahn (October 18, 2022)I’m very excited to read Erin Hahn’s adult debut. Everything I’ve heard about this book makes it sound fantastic and I am ready to fall in love with the characters. I’ve also heard that this book is on the steamier side, which is another plus.

Built to Last

The Miraculous Sweetmakers by Natasha Hastings (October 27, 2022)This middle-grade debut sounds fantastic. It looks like this fantasy and historical fiction, which is a combination that I’ve been running into a lot lately. This book is also on tour soon with The Write Reads, so I’ll be reading it very soon.

Well Traveled by Jen DeLuca (December 6, 2022)Even though I haven’t read the second and third books in this series, I’m very excited for the fourth book. Well Met was such a great read and I am looking forward to more romance at the Ren Faire. I’m also excited for this book because it’s purple which is my favourite colour.

Well Traveled

Nine Liars by Maureen Johnson (December 27, 2022)Stevie Bell is one of my favourite fictional characters and I’m looking forward to seeing what she gets up to in this book. I still haven’t read The Box in the Woods, but I’m hoping that I’ll be able to fit that in before my preorder of this book arrives.

  1. Also very excited for Well Traveled! I didn’t care much for the second book in the series but I really enjoyed the first and third, so I’m looking forward to another installment.
