WWW Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. Each week, you’re supposed to let your readers know what you’re currently reading, what you recently finished, and what you think you’ll read next.
Right now, I have two books on the go. I’ve been listening to Beartown by Fredrik Backman and reading These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong. I’m enjoying both of these books, but I think I need to switch to my physical copy of Beartown because I tend to lose focus when listening to audiobooks. I’m about 25% into both Beartown and These Violent Delights and I’m hoping I can finish them this weekend.
It looks like the last time I did one of these posts was on February 1st but February hasn’t been that great of a reading month for me, so I don’t have very much to catch up on. Since last Wednesday, I finished reading The Dead Romantics by Ashley Poston and I loved it. The book was such an emotional roller coaster and I need more books like that in my life. I was a little skeptical when The Dead Romantics was announced because ghosts, but it was weird and wonderful and I cannot recommend it enough.
Up next for me is The House in the Pines by Ana Reyes. This is the book of the month for one of the book clubs that I’m in and I haven’t started it yet. We’re meeting on Friday to discuss this one, so I’m hoping it’s a quick read.
