Hello Everyone!
Welcome to March!
February was not a great reading month for me, but I’m optimistic that March will be better because I am participating in the Trope-ical readathon this month! I don’t want to overbook myself this month, so I haven’t picked books for all of the prompts yet. I’m also hoping to make a solid dent in my NetGalley shelf this month, so I’m picking a lot of books from there.
Absent/Dead Parents (A Book with More Than One Author) – I think The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barnhill works for this prompt, but I won’t know until I start it.
Boarding School (Group/Buddy Read) – This month I am buddy reading 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne with some wonderful people.
Blast from the Past (A book published before 2000) – For this prompt, I’m hoping to read Secretly Yours by Tessa Bailey.
Bookish Themes (a book with a pun in the title) – For this prompt, I’m hoping to read The Little Wartime Library by Kate Thompson.
Retelling (A book with a TV or movie adaption) – One of the book clubs I’m in is reading Circe by Madeline Miller this month and I believe Circe is a retelling.
Team (Romance) Challenges:
Read a Book with the Competition Trope – For this prompt, I’m hoping to read Paris Daillencourt Is About to Crumble by Alex Hall. It looks like it features a baking competition.
Read a Historical Romance Novel – For this prompt, I’m hoping to read A Spinster’s Guide to Danger and Dukes by Manda Collins.
