Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
Since my last weekly update, I finished reading You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria, which I enjoyed so much that I immediately went out to find the sequel.
I also added quite a few books to my TBR since my last update. I went used book shopping this weekend and I picked up quite a few Agatha Christie books to add to my collection.
This has been a very exciting week!
On Sunday, my boyfriend and I ordered pizza, and I was able to get my pizza with chicken, mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and spinach on it.
On Thursday, I hopped on the train and headed towards Toronto. I travelled business class, which was definitely worth the extra ticket price. I went to Toronto to see my best friend from University. On Thursday night, we didn’t get up to very much. We had pizza, called one of our other friends from university that we haven’t talked to in a while, and we watched The Hating Game.
On Friday, my friend and I went on a bookstore crawl. I think we hit six bookstores on our adventure, which was very exciting but also that’s a lot of books. After our bookstore crawl, we met up with some of her friends for dinner and then we went to see Hamilton! Hamilton was amazing and I am so glad that I was able to see it live.
On Saturday, my friend and I met up with some other friends from university and we went out for brunch. We then went to three more bookstores before I had to pack up my stuff and head back home. Overall, it was an excellent weekend and I’m very grateful that I got to catch up with so many people and that I was able to see Hamilton. It was also an exhausting weekend and I probably need a week to recharge my introvert batteries.
