Hello Everyone!
April is almost here, which means it’s time for the April prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge!
If you’re new to the TBR Tackle Challenge, it’s a reading challenge that I co-host with from.TBR.to.READ, theartsy_bookworm88, and hplreads. The goal of the challenge is to read the books that you already own and to “tackle your TBR.” Every month, we post five prompts to help you decide what books to read from your existing TBR. You can use the same book for multiple prompts, and you don’t have to pick books for all of the prompts if you don’t want to. The TBR Tackle Challenge started on Instagram, but we’re also on Twitter, Goodreads, and Storygraph.
If you have any questions about the TBR Tackle Challenge, please let me know!
Here are the prompts for April!
Starts with G or H
Once again, we’re carrying on with the alphabet this month and now we’re tackling “G” and “H”! Read a book that has a title that starts with either “G” or “H” for this prompt. It’s up to you how you treat titles that start with “The” or “A”.
Devious Character
To celebrate April Fool’s Day, read a book featuring a devious character. This can be a character who is sneaky, someone who is up to no good, or someone who has a lot of tricks up their sleeve.
Magical Creature
Did you know that April 9th is Unicorn Day? To celebrate this magical occasion, read a book with a magical creature in it.
Colourful Cover
Read a book with a bright and colourful cover. The more colours, the better!
Music
April 22nd is Record Store Day. To celebrate, read a book that features music. This can be a character who really enjoys music or plays an instrument, a book that involves going to a concert, a book with musical themes, or something along those lines.
If you have any questions about any of the prompts, let me know! Happy TBR Tackling!
