Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my weekly wrap-up, where I talk about any bookish or life things that happened during the week.
Once again, I have too many books on the go and I haven’t finished anything. I’m currently reading 99 Percent Mine by Sally Thorne, The Housekeepers by Alex Hay, and Dark Eyes: White Lies by M.R. Noble. I should finish Dark Eyes: White Lies later today, and then I’m hoping to make a decent dent in The Housekeepers.
On Sunday, my boyfriend and I had an Indian food night. The restaurant that we order from is quickly becoming one of our favourites and there’s the added bonus of always having leftovers which makes lunch easy the next day.
Work was fairly chaotic this week. Lots of deadlines, lots of phone calls, and lots of people coming and going from the office. Fortunately, it was a short week this week.
On Thursday, I came home to surprise flowers after work. They were blue, pink, and yellow and I love them very much.
On Friday, I had a day off from work and I spent the day chipping away at some behind the scenes things for BBNYA.
On Saturday, my family had their Easter gathering. We went to my brother’s house and it was nice to see a bunch of extended family. It was also nice eating cheesy potatoes, and I firmly believe that cheesy potatoes improve every situation.
