I Love Spring Book Tag

I Love Spring Banner

Hello Everyone!

It’s Thursday, which makes it the perfect day for a book tag! Today I’m doing the I Love Spring Book Tag which I found on Twirling Book Princess book blog!

I’m not tagging anyone specific in this one, so if you like tags, consider yourself tagged!

1) How is Spring where you live?

Spring is a roller coaster in South Western Ontario. Right now, we’re going through a cold snap and we had a frost advisory for Tuesday morning. Two weeks ago the temperature was in the mid-twenties celsius.

2) Most anticipated book release this Spring?

I haven’t been paying as much attention to upcoming releases lately, which my wallet is thankful for. One book that I’m looking forward to is Skandar and the Phantom Rider by A.F. Steadman. I read Skandar and the Unicorn Thief last year, and I enjoyed it enough to be excited for the sequel. If you’re curious, here’s my review of Skandar and the Unicorn Thief.

3) Show us a book cover that makes you think of Spring:

The cover of Love and Luck by Jenna Evans Welch reminds me of spring because of the clover on the front.

4) Where are you going to read this Spring?

This Spring, I’m tackling the Grishaverse books. Hannah (book bestie) and I are reading the Grishaverse books right now. We’re currently reading the Shadow and Bone trilogy and we should be starting Ruin and Rising very soon.

5) Find a cover with the sun on it!

The first book that came to mind for this prompt was You Had Me At Hola by Alexis Daria. I read this book recently and I thought it was fantastic. If you’re curious, here’s my review of You Had Me at Hola.

6) What are your favourite Spring reads?

I don’t really have a lot of books that I associate with spring, so this is a tough question. I like quick reads in the spring, but I read cozy mysteries and romances all year long.

7) Find a book with many different colours on it?

Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto is bright yellow with lots of green and other colours on it.
