Top 5 Books with Air

T5T Air Banner(1)

Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, and it’s now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is Books with Air. I’m very glad that this is the last of this month’s theme. While it’s been fun coming up with books that fit the elements, it’s also been a struggle.

Skandar and the Unicorn Thief by A.F. Steadman – This book involves flying unicorns, which fits the air theme quite well. The magic system in this book is also element based, and while I can’t remember which character has air magic, I know that one of them does.

Death in the Clouds by Agatha Christie – This Poirot adventure involves a murder that takes place on an airplane. I don’t remember many of the details from this one, but I always appreciate the Poirot mysteries that have a very limited amount of suspects.

Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid – This is a bit of a stretch, but I think tennis balls flying through the air at breakneck speeds fits into the air category.

Crumbs by Danie Stirling – This super cute graphic novel features witches that can fly on brooms. One of the major plot points involves one character trying to get their broom flying license, which makes this book work extra well for this prompt.

All Fired Up by Dylan Newton – This is the only book on this list that I haven’t read yet. I don’t know if it actually falls into the air category, but the cover had hot air balloons on it.
