Hello everyone!

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, and it’s now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their wonderful blog to get the details and the prompts for each week!

This week’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is Books on my Pride TBR! I don’t actually have a set pride TBR for this month because I’m trying to let my mood dictate what I pick up, I do have a list of books with LGBTQ+ rep that I would like to read before the end of the year.

The Guncle by Steven Rowley – I’ve been wanting to read more books by Steven Rowley ever since Lily and the Octopus tore my heart out and ripped it to shreds. The Guncle, is about Gay Uncle Patrick who suddenly finds himself the primary caregiver for his young niece and nephew. This book looks like it’s going to have some heartfelt and emotional moments, but it also looks like a fun read.

Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake by Alexis Hall – Alexis Hall books keep popping up on my radar, but I haven’t picked one up yet. I want to read Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake because it features a baking competition that’s similar to The Great British Bake-Off. I’m a big fan of baking and romance, so that makes this book extra appealing to me.

Delilah Green Doesn’t Care by Ashley Herring-Blake – I love romances where the main character finds themselves back in the town they swore they’d never return to. I think it’s a fun trope and I almost always enjoy reading it. In this book, one of the main characters is guilted into returning home to photograph her step-sister’s wedding. Weddings and small towns, what’s not to love?

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – This is the one book on this list that I’m almost positive I’ll get to this month. I’m currently reading Ruin & Rising and I’m planning on diving into this duology next. I’m looking forward to reading this one because it’s a heist novel, which sounds like a fun concept. I also like the Grishaverse so far and I’m looking forward to exploring more of it.

Nick and Charlie by Alice Oseman – I have no idea why I haven’t read this novella yet. I absolutely adore the Heartstopper universe and I would love to have more Nick and Charlie in my life.
