June TBR Tackle Challenge TBR

Hello Everyone!

It seems a little bit late in the month to be talking about my June TBR, but everything has been chaotic lately and better late than never?

In case you missed it, here’s the post about the June prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge. I have four books that I want to read this month for it.

Meet Me At the Lake by Carley Fortune – I’m using this book for two prompts this month. This book fits both the set near a body of water prompt and the pink on the cover prompt. This book also happens to be a book club read for me, which I’m looking forward to starting later this week.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – I’m using this book for the LGBTQ+ Character prompt. My book bestie and I have slowly been working out way through the Grishaverse books and this is the next book on our list. The plan is to start it next week and I’m looking forward to exploring Ketterdam and meeting all of the characters.

The Labours of Hercules by Agatha Christie – I’m using this book for the Starts with K or L prompt. As you may know, I’m slowly working my way through all of the Poirot books and this is the next one on my list. I believe this was a collection of short stories, which should make for a quick read.

Nic Blake and the Remarkables by Angie Thomas – I’m using this book for the Father Figure prompt. I don’t know much about this magical middle grade book, but the blurb mentions that the main character has to save her father. I’m looking forward to diving into a new middle grade world and checking this book out.
