Hello Everyone!

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Crazy-For-Books and is now being hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. Every Friday, a new question is posted for bloggers to answer during the week. The purpose of the Book Blogger Hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and maybe even receive some new blog followers.

Book Blogger Hop

This week’s question is:

When you write your reviews, which do you discuss more – the plot or the characters?

(submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

When I’m writing reviews, I tend to focus on the characters more than the plot because when I’m reading, I tend to be more character focused than plot focused. If I don’t like the characters, I find that I struggle to get through a book. I can deal with a bad plot but great characters, I struggle with a good plot but bad characters.

  1. I completely agree. If I don’t relate to the characters in some way or they just don’t come alive for me, then it’s really hard to finish a book sometimes
