July TBR Tackle Challenge Announcement

Hello Everyone!

July is almost here, which means it’s time for the July prompts for the TBR Tackle Challenge!

If you’re new to the TBR Tackle Challenge, it’s a reading challenge that I co-host with from.TBR.to.READ, theartsy_bookworm88, and hplreads. The goal of the challenge is to read the books that you already own and to “tackle your TBR.” Every month, we post five prompts to help you decide what books to read from your existing TBR. You can use the same book for multiple prompts, and you don’t have to pick books for all of the prompts if you don’t want to. The TBR Tackle Challenge started on Instagram, but we’re also on Twitter, Goodreads, and Storygraph.

If you have any questions about the TBR Tackle Challenge, please let me know!

Here are the prompts for July!

July 2023 TBR Tackle

Starts with M or N

Once again, we’re carrying on with the alphabet this month and now we’re tackling “M” and “N”! Read a book that has a title that starts with either “M” or “N” for this prompt. It’s up to you how you treat titles that start with “The” or “A”.

Red or White on the Cover

July 1st is Canada Day, to celebrate, read a book with red or white on the cover.

Paperback

July 30th is Paperback Book Day. To celebrate this day, read a paperback this month!

Vacation

July is a popular month for people to take vacations, read a book that features a vacation or travel of some sort.

Grumpy/Sunshine

This is a bit of a stretch, but bare with me for a minute. July is home to a lot of ice cream themed holidays and it’s National Ice Cream Month. Ice cream is cold and sweet, so to celebrate this tasty treat, read a book with the grumpy (cold) and sunshine (sweet) trope.

If you have any questions about any of the prompts, let me know! Happy TBR Tackling!
