What questions would you ask any author if you had the chance?

I don’t have any specific questions that I would ask a specific author, but I do have some general questions I would ask if I was interviewing an author. I’d like to ask where their main character(s)’s name came from and the inspiration for the setting of their book. I’d also like to ask what their to to writing snack is because I’m very interested in snacks.
