Top 5 Anticipated Reads for July to September 2023

As of writing this, the Top 5 Tuesday topics for July to September haven’t been posted yet, but I have a feeling that today’s topic is going to be Top 5 Anticipated Reads for July to September 2023. I always enjoy the anticipated reads topics because I love checking out what books are coming out in the coming months and adding them to my neverending TBR.

Business or Pleasure by Rachel Lynn Solomon (July 4, 2023)

Even though I haven’t read any of Rachel Lynn Solomon’s books yet, I preordered this one because the premise sounded fun. For some reason, Indigo shipped this out early and my copy arrived last week. I read the first few chapters on Friday night and I’ve already laughed out loud a few times. I’m hoping that the rest of this book is as fun as the first few chapters.

The Housekeepers by Alex Hay (July 4, 2023)

This book sounds like it’s a lot of fun and it’s the kind of thing that I am definitely into. I don’t know much about this book, but I do know that it features a ragtag group of women who come together to pull of a heist during a costume ball. I have a feeling that this book has some fantastic characters and I’m looking forward to meeting them.

Tastes Like Shakkar by Nisha Sharma (August 1, 2023)

Even though I wasn’t a fan of the male main character in Dating Dr. Dil, it was still one of the more fun books that I read last year. The book made me laugh-out-loud multiple times and it was steamy and fun. Tastes Like Shakkar is set in the same universe as Dating Dr. Dil and I’m hoping it’s just as fun of a read.

The Brothers Hawthorne by Jennifer Lynn Barnes (August 29, 2023)

Even though The Final Gambit is still sitting unread on my shelf, I’m looking forward to The Brothers Hawthorne. It appears that this book is focused on Greyson and Jameson and I’m looking forward to reading more about them. I’m a fan of all of the Hawthorne brothers, but Greyson and Jameson are definitely the two most intriguing ones. I’m also looking forward to this one because I know it’s going to be exciting and action-packed.

The Long Game by Elena Armas (September 5, 2023)

This is the book I’m most excited for on this list. I absolutely adored The Spanish Love Deception and The American Roommate Experiment and Elena Armas is an auto-buy author for me. This is a sports romance, which is a subgenre I haven’t explored very much, but I’m looking forward to diving into it. I’m also intrigued by this book because of the assortment of animals on the cover.
