August TBR Tackle Challenge TBR

Today I’m sharing the books I want to read for the August TBR Tackle Challenge. If you missed it, here’s the announcement with the August prompts.

Starts with O or P

For this prompt, I think I want to read Of Princes and Promises by Sandhya Menon. I read Of Curses and Kisses a few years ago and I think I want to carry on with this series.

Pink or Green on the Cover

For this prompt, I think I want to read Rosaline Palmer Takes the Cake by Alexis Hall. This book was on my pride TBR a few months ago, but unfortunately, I didn’t get to it. I’ve also been wanting to check out Alexis Hall, so this should be a great opportunity to do so.

Animal on the Cover

For this prompt, I think I want to read The Accidental Apprentice by Amanda Foody. This middle-grade book has been on my TBR for a while and I think it would be nice to finally read it.

Recommended by a Friend

For this prompt, I think I’m going to read The Love Square by Laura Jane Williams. This was a book club pick many months ago and my one friend is still raving about it to this day. I think it’s time for me to finally read it to see why she loves it so much.

Retelling

I don’t know if Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast but I think I’m going to use this book for that prompt. I loved Geekerella and The Princess and the Fangirl and I think it’s time for me to finally finish this series.
